I was drafted out of the UNC Motion Picture Graduate School by the US Army. They gave me an MOS of 71R-20 and sent me to Fort Carson CO. It was the height of the Vietnam War and I ended up in Special Services writing, acting and directing Army training films and plays in Colorado Springs. That’s when this last journey began. My wife and I moved to Hollywood where I pursued acting for 7-1/2 years. Did some commercials, plays and finally some film roles. The few I did are listed in IMDB. Great friends, and experiences but children was in our future. Hoping to get a commercial to pay for our future childrens shoes lost it’s appeal. I went back to the family company in Chicago and spent 43 years there. Raised our 3 children and saw a good deal of the planet. But it was time to for retirement. We moved to Miami and wondered what was next
